How The Stoplight Meditation Technique Lets You Meditate When You’re on the Go.
Practice meditation at a stoplight? Who does that? I do, and so can you. I was talking with a friend recently and somehow we got on the subject of meditation. I told her I meditated daily and she told me that she never could find the time to meditate. I introduced her to this quick and easy meditation technique and now she’s hooked.
I understood where she was coming from. When I first started practicing the art of meditation I found it very difficult to remain still and keep my eyes closed and clear my mind of distractions and focus on my breathing and so on.
Then a good friend recommended the Silva Method Meditation System.
I checked it out and found it very effective at allowing me to remain still and keep my eyes closed and clear my mind of distractions and focus on my breathing and so on. I soon found myself meditating morning, noon, and night using several techniques, some of which can be performed in 30 minutes, and others that can be performed in just 10 seconds.
At first I was doubtful that a 10 second meditation session could be effective but I’ve since learned that these short “Zaps” allow me to stay focused on my goals.

“Any time you internalize your focus with a purpose in mind, for example to go over your goals, to see your future evolving in the way you desire to evolve or connect with your inner self and experience your oneness with all else that is, even if it’s just for 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 2, you are meditating. I can even practice a short meditation in my car when approaching a stoplight.

I also do this when I’m in an elevator or standing in line at the store. I do this when I’m at the gym and when I’m
folding towels or putting away the dishes or heating something in the microwave.
